DTF (Direct to Film) printing has opened up a lot of possibilities for custom apparel, and we've really enjoyed working with it here at Stitch Ranch.
No Minimum Order Headaches
One thing people appreciate is that there are no high minimums with DTF printing. You need one shirt? We can do that. You need a hundred? We can handle that too. It's nice to be able to help whether you're testing an idea or placing a bigger order. This flexibility means you're not stuck ordering more than you need just to meet a minimum requirement.
Full Color Comes to Life
Full color is where DTF really shines. Gradients, detailed artwork, photographs—it all comes through clearly on the fabric. If your design has complexity or multiple colors, DTF handles it beautifully without compromise.
Designing with Intention
Over the years, we've learned that the best prints don't always cover the whole shirt. We like to use negative space and let the garment color work with the design. It keeps things from feeling heavy or overdone.
When you slap a big solid rectangle of color onto a shirt, it can feel bulky and stiff. By incorporating the garment's natural color into the design—leaving intentional gaps, using the shirt color as part of the palette—the print becomes part of the shirt, not just something sitting on top of it
